Pediatrics

North Country Family Health Center began serving children in 1971 and continues that legacy today. Our pediatric team of board-certified pediatricians, pediatric, and family nurse practitioners, and lactation consultants will deliver high-quality, accessible healthcare to you and your family in our recently renovated health center.

For your convenience, we are available until 6:00 p.m. during the week and provide some Saturday morning hours too. We also provide daily walk-in appointments for sick visits.

Don’t be – we can assist you in finding health insurance coverage for you and your family. Our Certified Application Counselor will help you with healthcare coverage and if necessary help you apply for our Sliding Fee Discount Program.

Preventative dental services begin with the first tooth. We have three different sites that provide preventative and restorative dental services to families – at our main health center in Watertown, at our LeRay office in Evans Mills, and at our Lowville office.

Reach Out and Read is a national literacy program where providers, as part of a child’s routine medical visit, are trained to offer parents guidance about the importance of reading aloud and encouraging child literacy. At each well visit children 6 months – 11 years will receive a new book to keep and take home.

North Country Family Health Center is also home to WIC of Northern New York. WIC, or the Women, Infants, and Children’s Program, provides nutrition and support services for pregnant, postpartum, and breastfeeding women and children up to age 5. Please click here to see if you qualify for the WIC Program.
