Students at North, Wiley, Case and Watertown High School have access to school-based health centers (SBHCs) directly where they are – in school. These health centers are available to students when school is in session. Students at Starbuck, Knickerbocker, Sherman, and Ohio have access to the SBHC at North Elementary School. The school district provides transportation to and from the SBHC when it is needed.
All Watertown Students also have access to preventive dental services (like cleanings, screenings, sealants, and fluoride varnish treatments). The WCSD dental clinic is located at Wiley School. Students from Wiley, Case and WHS are scheduled at that location. Portable dental equipment is used to provide dental care to children at Ohio, Knickerbocker, Sherman, and North Elementary Schools.
All medical and all preventive dental services are provided at no out-of-pocket cost to parents. But, students must be enrolled in the School-based Health Program it use it.
